L'Étape by Tour de France

Visual identity proposal for L’Étape by Tour de France, USA cycling series.

visual identity | sports & entertainment

  • L'Étape by Tour de France is a series of amateur races where competitors experience cycling like a Tour de France champion. In 2023 L'Étape is looking to expand to new locations in the USA.

The objective was to unify all races while giving each their own identity with the location.

Miami is the second city in the USA to proudly host L'Étape by TDF. The colorful 70s style and Brickell walls bring together "old and new," and the vibrant livelihood of the city.

The L'Étape brand book uses four colors: black, gray, white, and yellow. For U.S. events like L'Étape Miami, yellow unifies the palette and links them to the global series.

In cycling, jerseys are the most iconic sportswear. At L'Étape, each competitor receives one designed to match current trends—something they’ll keep wearing long after the race, extending the event’s visibility.

As part of a branding proposal, the following items are used within the course and general event operations.
